“Language should never be a barrier to seeking help, and I am dedicated to facilitating effective communication through our therapeutic relationship.”
As a bilingual counselor, I am committed to providing families and individuals with compassionate mental health care. I am a fluent speaker of both English and Spanish and offer therapy sessions in the language you feel most comfortable expressing yourself.
I received my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University, and I am a licensed therapist in the state of Illinois. With a background in community mental health, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients spanning from children to adults. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients struggling with depression, bipolar, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and adjustment difficulties.
In my practice, I offer sessions with a unique blend of cultural sensitivity and diverse therapeutic approaches to our sessions. I utilize an eclectic approach gathering from different modalities to meet your specific needs. My primary approach is person-centered, meaning you are the center of your therapeutic journey. Collaboratively we will work together towards understanding, healing, and achieving your therapeutic goals.
Whether you are seeking support for your family, relationships, personal challenges, or addressing mental health concerns, my main focus is to create a safe and inclusive space for you to express yourself. I enjoy working with diverse communities including women-related issues, racial issues, and LGBTQIA+. If you are ready to take the first step on your mental health journey, I am here to support you every step of the way. Estoy aqui para apoyarte! I am here to support you!
