“The process of living is like taking a very long road trip. The destination may be important, but the journey experienced day to day and week to week is what is invaluable.”-Steven C. Hayes
I approach therapy with the assumption that every person is inherently good and doing their best given their current circumstances, resources and tools. My goals for therapy are not to “fix” a person but to empower them to live their fullest and most authentic life.
I am a sex positive and kink friendly therapist and have experience working with members of the LGBTQIA and kink communities.
I am empathetic and supportive and encourage clients to evaluate thoughts and behaviors that have become problematic. I tend to inject humor into my work and will draw from personal experiences and education to assist clients.
